Mystery

The morning newspaper is here
with news and caricatures from around
a lot of personalities conveyed
and many, personally, of whom I keep caricatures
from what I perceived.
The cat promenades in,
I wonder if it is not afraid of ME
Yes, the ME I know much
and the ME I still have to know much
Each one who meets ME, takes a ME with them
a mystery I could not solve
but so eager to know
who is that ME, they carry
if I know her or is she a stranger
I am here, yet I am there too in everybody, I met,
without their knowing,
the part of me I conveyed
I want to know what was it, that I conveyed
yet I know it will be a mystery for me always
the scattered Me all-around
like words parted from lips forever.

  1. So many questions. I suppose we do leave a little bit of ourselves with everyone we interact with day to day. Life's eternal mysteries. Lovely piece.

  2. Yes, I think we all have many facets of our 'me' even to ourselves. Thanks for posting in Poetry Jam!

  3. Yes, we all have different facets of the 'me' which we are. We are one person, but have many facets of that me. Well expressed poem; and thanks for posting in Poetry Jam.
