Pride rediscovered.

The snakes of yesteryears’ memories crawling around,
winding me, cheating me, of my happiness today.
My heart torn apart, bleeding,
arrows of second thoughts piercing deep,
every action amounting to riots,
no I am not a rebel,
just, that my heart is passionate,
in every deed I perform,
my heart was hurt,
when you criticized.
But this evening,
with beautiful verses in hand,
I realize,
if passion meets wisdom,
action meets maturity,
its paradise.
My pride is in my humility, now I know.

  1. “if passion meets wisdom, action meets maturity “ Wow – just love this line.
It started on a sober note, ended it very positively - Like the spirit.

  3. You've included all words, Sreeja. Somehow, I wasn't even looking or counting those; I was completely into your poem.

I agree with Viyoma - “if passion meets wisdom, action meets maturity" is a beautiful line. :)

  6. You have used all the words very aptly and a lovely poem.

For the coding, we can do this: Go to posts -> Edit post -> There are two options Compose and Edit HTML on top -> Click on HTML link -> Paste the code you wrote under this post there and update.

After doing that you will see a link here, not the coding. :) When I was new even I had a tough time figuring such things.:)
