A realm to search....

Swaying with wind, the fluttering muse
You touch my skin, you brush my hair
Eyes are blind yet inside it is cool
Solid truths make marks but,
Why I love just you? Oh wind!
Realms of unheard melodies
Washed colors from the pallet,
circling in the pool of water
The words you never uttered
Why I always read between lines?
Those droplets from leaves
Parting, swaying with wind
Drips with reflections from all-around
Momentary, yes momentary!
And why I think there is eternity,
Profound in between boundaries,
In between endings and openings
A space beyond three dimensions
A place where soul like wind resides with peace
gathering all its mightiness.

  1. Interesting how some of the same ideas/phrases embroider both your poem and mine--not that there is anything really similar. You give a " A place where soul like wind resides with peace
gathering all its mightiness."--and this place is between boundaries, beyond all, but when it comes to speak with you with no words it has a kindness, a seeing beyond blindness, a fleetingness along with a promise of return. A very moving piece!

  2. You make a mark with each of your poems ... this poem seems to symbolize lost love, and the quest for it ... very beautifully done !!!

  3. A very apt title, Sreeja, to a poem that sings of lost love and the memories. These lines were the soul of your poem:

And why I think there is eternity,
    Profound in between boundaries,
    In between endings and openings
    A space beyond three dimensions.

    Beautiful!

  4. This reads like an intimate letter, or deep musings, and is written with beautiful brush strokes. I especially loved the simple observations of these lines, and how they are so filled with emotion.

  5. 'The words you never uttered
Why I always read between lines?'
Sometimes there is so much that is unsaid and has to be read between the lines to be understood and, isn't that a shame when we have to dig far deeper than we ought to, really. I really enjoyed this, it has to be one of your best so far.
