It's wild storm outside.

It’s wild storm outside
Hide your lamb with wolf skin
only wolves survive
you know your lamb
keep it safe
breeze do come
occasionally
relish the innocence
 when breeze visits.

  1. I love the idea of hiding the lamb in wolf skin to keep it alive and safe.

  2. It is a treasure to think of how fierce we are able to become in order to protect. In the comfort of that breeze, we may breath again.

Lovely! I look forward to reading more of your words. :)

  3. I read this in a different way with the mother hardening her child to accept the trials of living. Deep down however when all is safe she can enjoy the child's innocence. I think in literature there are two stories I recall with the analogy to wolves. One where the village boy cries wolf too often until no one believes him any more when the wolf actually comes. The other where a boy dresses up in a wolves skin to scare others and is killed for his joke accidentally.
    Thank you for you visit.

    1. Thanks Jae for the visit....sometimes the lamb, the innocent self will be misunderstood. the lamb may not survive the wild storm of practical world......need to protect that innocence from getting wounded.
