A small kerchief
She puts it in her pocket
Every time she leaves home
She puts it in her pocket
She makes boats, bananas
With her kerchief
She wipes her face and hands
And puts it back in her pocket
She draws an imaginary world
She makes it her companion
To clasp tight when she walks out
And to put on her head when sun
Smiles hard at her cute face
Her embroidered kerchief
With fruits, fairies and cartoons
She strolls with her little feet
With a cute kerchief in her pocket.
