Wild Cloud Dreams

Written for dVerse Poets Pub, MTB compounding the stem with Laura Bloomsbury. In her words, Compounding the Stem we are composing in the style of the Compound Word Verse with 8/8/3 syllables per line and a rhyme scheme of a,a,b whereby the third line is rhymed on the stem of a compound word and is included in the title.

  3. Dreams. Some are yours some are mine. They go into a huge data base—this I know! . And so to answer your question—yes, if enough dreams of the good kind gather inside that data base, they turn to oars and the smog of wars vanish forever—this too, I know, (with a grain of salt)! So let’s spread the word, let us cloudburst, sreeja! I totally enjoyed this poem. Made me nod along. Thanks. Xo, Selma Martin.
