It's blue and orange
and some white and black,
tarnished.
Where the moon can take you
is where the tarnished blue and orange can.
The leaf-less tree branches
and the texture of the moon.
Yesteryear,
mingled with joy and sadness
where you weave lost dreams
with new ones.
An unknown pain, the longing
for some places and
an urge to create?
Hiraeth? Fernweh? Toska?
Moon.
Written first as an accompaniment for today's sketchbook work; later changed some lines for dVerse Poets Pub, Poetics: Adagio for Strings.
Here Kim says to express your thoughts after listening to the music.
Great use of colour and repetition, Sreeja, and I love the mixture of joy, sadness, lost and new dreams.
